Chris Shackelford from Trelio in Clovis was live on Wednesday's show to cook up his special "Gummy Bears Unwrapped Fresno Style" recipe.

Here's the recipe for Shackelfords "Gummy Bears" for those who wish to make them at home:
Fresno State Olive Oil "Gummy Bears"
25 g Glucose
2.5 Vanilla Pods
80g Caster Sugar
8.5g Gelatin: 5 Sheets
100mL Water
100g Isomalt
200mL Fresno State Olive Oil
Bloom gelatin. Heat water, sugar, glucose and Isomalt to 90C, stirring continuously until dissolved. Add olive oil using an immersion blender (stick blender) until completely emulsified. Stir in seeds from vanilla pods and gelatin (squeeze out water). Pour into a tray or mold and leave to set in refrigerator. Cut into pieces and cover with caster sugar.
