A police report is expected to be released on Wednesday, detailing how a Fresno State football player was arrested for drunk driving, and plowing into an apartment building.
Authorities say that Jason Shirley, a member of the Fresno State football programs defensive team, drove into the "Sunridge Apartment Complex" in Northeast Fresno around 11:30 P.M. Monday night.
Shirley allegedly drove away from the scene after the crime occurred, but a security guard wrote down the car's license plate number. When police tracked down Shirley, they say he flunked a field sobriety test, registering a blood alcohol level of .11 and .12. The legal limit in California is .08.
Shirley is the fourth player suspended from the Fresno State Football team this season.
