Allen Klein, author of Having the Time of Your Life, and David Mezzapelle, author of Contagious Optimism, show how optimism can make people happier.
(PRWEB) September 01, 2014
In an article for the San Francisco Examiner, Allen Klein, whose most recent book is Having the Time of Your Life: Little Lessons to Live By (Viva Editions 2014), discussed how positivity and optimism really are contagious. "Another study, done by researchers at Harvard and the University of California, San Diego, showed that positive feelings, like negativity, rub off too. They discovered that when you feel happy, a friend living within one mile of you is 25 percent more likely to feel happy too. And amazingly, your neighbors are 34 percent more likely to feel happy."
Klein recommends David Mezzapelle's Contagious Optimism: Uplifting Stories and Motivational Advice for Positive Forward Thinking (Viva Editions) for more stories of the healing power of positivity.
