Ay Chihuahua! CHP Rescues Dog From Bay Area Interstate

Talk about a small dog in big trouble!

A Chihuahua was rescued Friday from a concrete barrier on Interstate 680 in Walnut Creek Friday.

A driver had spotted the dog, and alerted officers.

A California Highway Patrol officer was able to lure the tiny dog with a piece of a protein bar.

The dog was not hurt.

The dog is now at Contra Costa Animal Services.

If the owner does not come forward, the dog will be put up for adoption.
