JMR Graphics Responds to an Article Discussing the Use of Out-of-Home Advertising that Helps Locals in Need of Organ Donations

Nationwide vehicle wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics comments on an article discussing how a town in Kentucky is utilizing billboards to bring attention to locals in need of organ donations

Bohemia, NY / myprgenie.com / ACCESSWIRE / May 3, 2014 / JMR Graphics, a nationwide vehicle wraps manufacturer, responds to an article published by Bowling Green Daily News that discusses Franklin, Kentucky’s use of billboards to bring attention to those waiting for organ transplants, in the hope of finding local donor matches.

According to a March 21st article from Bowling Green Daily News titled “Billboard promotes need for organ donors,” a Franklin woman, Darlene Jones, has used a billboard to bring attention to her great-niece’s need for a new kidney, and the needs of others waiting for organ transplants. After Jones heard about another woman who successfully used a billboard to advertise her husband’s need for a kidney donation, Jones decided to give the same tactic a try for her great-niece. The billboard on US 31W, near Interstate 65 in Franklin, Kentucky, includes a photo of Jones’s 21-year-old great-niece, Molly Copas. It states that a kidney donor is needed for a local girl and asks people to visit vanderbilttransplantcenter.com or call 615-936-0695 for more information.

TJ Panell, a representative from nationwide vehicle wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics, says, “This is a perfect example of geo-targeting an audience with out-of-home advertising.  Only out-of-home advertising, like billboards, allow for mass reach in a very targeted area.”
