Fresno Man Stabbed A Week After Refusing To Buy Beer

Posted:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) - Fresno police say a man is recovering from a stab wound to his leg right now.

He was attacked by two people on cedar, just north of Ventura.

It happened just after 10:00 p.m. Monday night.

Officers say a bizarre incident a week ago may have led to the attack.

Police say last week Johnathan Hernandez followed the victim home, and asked him to buy him a beer but the man said "No."

Police say Hernandez then threatened to take his TV but he still refused.

Hernandez left but officers say the victim was then attacked Monday night by Hernandez and a woman in her 20's.

Police say the woman has long red and black hair.

If you've seen this woman, or Hernandez, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 559-498-STOP.
