11 Seriously Hurt in Farm Labor Truck Crash Near Selma

UPDATE: Nebraska Ave. at Academy Intersection near Selma is now back open.

UPDATE: The CHP says a van blew a stop sign at the intersection of Nebraska Avenue and Academy, and hit another vehicle causing this injury crash.  The CHP says there is a sign there saying cross traffic does not stop.

11 people are seriously hurt.

CHP says 2 people have major injuries.

As many as six people are seriously hurt after a crash between a car and a farm labor truck near Selma at Nebraska Avenue and Academy.

This intersection is closed as emergency crews, including a medical helicopter, get the injured to the hospital.

Because this intersection will be closed for some time as investigators try to figure out how and why this happened, it's recommended you take Mendocino north to Rose or south to Mountain View.
