21-Year-Old Man Killed In Overnight Crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

A 21-year-old Fresno man was killed when he lost control of his car and hit a utility pole Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. near Academy and Bullard Avenues in Fresno County.

The CHP says the 2006 Saturn left the roadway and hit a telephone pole, causing fatal injuries to the driver.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
