Veteran's Touring Truck Gets Rude Fresno Welcome

Posted:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

A rude Fresno welcome Thursday night for a veteran's touring truck that has been to 30 states.  Randy Hayes, the founder of America's Fallen Heroes pulled into the Hampton Inn about 9:30 Thursday night towing the Navy Seals Raptor, a one of a kind Ford truck.

When Hayes went inside to check in, thieves broke into his truck towing the Raptor and stole his computer and software.  Hayes says it is a collection of four months of pictures and interviews as he took the truck from New York to California.

He says the materials can't be replaced and they are of no value to the thieves.  He is offering a $500 dollar reward, no questions asked.  He just wants the computer and the bag it was stored in returned.

The truck features air brushed images of Navy Special Warfare from World War II to present.  The Raptor will be on display at the Save Mart Center this weekend during the PBR Rodeo.

Hayes encourages anyone who has the computer to call Future Ford of Clovis at 294-6300 and arrangements will be made to pay the reward in exchange for the computer.
