Gunman Takes Customer's Laptop At Fresno Restaurant

Posted:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno police are looking for a man they say tried to rob a northwest Fresno restaurant.

It happened at the Panera on west Shaw, between, Marks and Brawley.

Witnesses say a man walked in, pulled out a gun, and pointed it at the cashier, Jacob Alarcon.

He said, "I'm not trying to get shot at work on a Friday. It's the first time. Still shaking, kind of."

The man demanded money, but the cashier couldn't get into the register without the manager.

The manager wasn't there.

The man got mad and ransacked the place.

He took a customer's laptop and ran.

Police are still looking for the man.
