Amber Alert Issued for 4 Kids Abducted in Los Angeles

Posted: Updated:

An Amber Alert has been issued for four children from the Los Angeles area.

Police say the kids were forcibly taken from their grandmother's house in the 1400 block of Indiana Street in Boyle Heights Friday afternoon. The suspects are the children's parents, 28-year-old Enrique Felix and 28-year-old Rose Chairez.

The children are 7-year-old Enrique Felix, 5-year-old Justin Felix and 1-year-old twin girls.

Police say the suspects did not have custody of the children, who were placed with their grandmother while an investigation into charges of child abuse and domestic violence is on-going.

The California Highway Patrol says the suspects may be driving a black or dark-colored PT Cruiser with paper license plates and a missing rear hubcap.

Anyone with information should call 911 or the Los Angeles Police Department, 323-342-4101.
