CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Gunshots Fired Into Southeast Fresno Home

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno Police say it was a scary situation for a homeowner when gunshots were fired into his home.

Investigators say the getaway car was caught on camera driving to the home and fleeing after the shooting.

Officers say four shots were fired through the garage door at the Southeast Fresno home. Police found bullets in the garage and living room.

No one was hurt but a neighbor did capture the car on his surveillance system. Richard Ide lives a few houses down from the homeowner and says he knew right away that his cameras caught the car involved in the shooting.

"I was asleep and my wife woke me up. She said she heard something that sounded like gunshots," says Richard Ide, "I knew I had it. When my neighbor told me the time the shooting happened, I knew I had it."

The homeowner told KMPH Fox 26 News that he did not want to go on camera. However, he did say that he has a pretty good idea about who fired the shots into his home.
