Investigators Say Fire At Fresno Restaurant Was Arson

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno Fire is reporting the cause of the is arson.

An employee was inside the closed business and says an adult male broke into the building and lit the interior on fire before running away.

Fresno Fire is working with the Fresno Police Department to locate the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.

Damage is estimated at $150,000.

 



 

The Frostee Freeze restaurant at Clovis and Balch caught fire Monday night.

The restaurant is located just north of Kings Canyon in Southeast Fresno.

The restaurant was closed at the time but one employee was inside and got out safely.

Firefighters are calling the fire suspicious because they found several starting points of fires throughout the business.

They also say there was another fire there last week.

Fresno police are also looking into a robbery at this location.

The official cause of the fire is under investigation.
