The world's biggest agricultural expo, which is held in Tulare, is dealing with tragedy just days before it opens.
A worker died Saturday afternoon around 1:30, while setting up for the event.
Tulare Police say the man was on a piece of equipment that was moving, when he fell off.
He was then run over by another piece of equipment.
Organizers of the World Ag Expo released the following statement: "We're deeply saddened by the tragedy at the World Ag Expo today. We offer our condolences to the family and friends of the individual who lost his life today."
Cal-Osha investigators will be looking into the incident.
The World Ag Expo begins Tuesday in Tulare.
