If you eat a lot of yogurt, you may be able to lower your risk of developing diabetes.

British researchers studied more than 25–thousand men and women and found those who ate the most yogurt lowered their risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes by more than 25 percent.

Study authors say while this type of study cannot prove yogurt lowers the risk – they do believe ingredients like Vitamin D, Calcium, Magnesium and probiotic bacteria may play a role in lowering your chances.
