Christmas Stabbing At Fresno Apartment

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

A man is in the hospital after he was stabbed several times Christmas night.

The stabbing happened around 7:00 p.m. at the Sycamore Heights Apartments, near Shields and Maple Avenues.

Police say the 43-year-old man was stabbed in the back and the arm.

The suspect ran from the scene and has not been located.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, 20 to 25-years-old, 6'3" tall, about 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a light gray hoodie, blue jeans, and a light-colored surgical mask.

Police are trying to figure out how the two men are connected.

There's no word on the condition of the victim at this time.
