FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno police say drugs, a gun, and two thieves with stolen property are off the street after a woman armed with just a cell phone brought them down.

It all played out in northwest Fresno, near Herndon and West Avenue.

Police say a hospice care office to help the terminally ill was burglarized Wednesday night.

Fresno police say the crooks then came back to the scene hours later to pick up stuff they hid in the bushes. The only problem, a woman with a cell phone saw them and called police.

Police say a wanted felon was arrested.

Officers say the man also had a kid with him. So child protective services were called.

Officers say he and another man were found with stolen property inside a car.

A closer search turned up a gun, a sword, and a variety of drugs as well.

Police say the thieves broke into the Optimal Hospice Care office and stole lap top and other items.

Police say those same items and others were discovered in the car.

Detectives are now trying to tie the men to other break ins.
