Brave, selfless neighbors helped to pull three people out of a burning house early this Thursday morning at Warren and Garland in Fresno. The one person they weren't able to get is now in the hospital.
The fire started on an awning and spread to the home around 2 a.m.
Four people were inside. Three got out okay with the help of some neighbors. Firefighters pulled an elderly woman from the home. They say she had no pulse at the time, but were able to revive her with CPR.
She is now in the hospital in critical condition.
Firefighters say they're not sure if the smoke alarm was working, but that the family inside the home may have been alerted to the fire by their cat.
