Central Valley Bucks Trend of Rising Gas Prices

The latest Lundberg Survey shows gas prices are rising across the country.

The average price of gasoline in the U.S. is up three cents a gallon in the past two weeks, to $3.29.

Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg says gas prices have risen six cents a gallon over the past month after nine straight weeks of decline.

In the Central Valley, though, prices continue to fall.

According to AAA's Fuel Gauge Report, Sunday's average in Fresno is $3.51 a gallon.

That's down one cent from last week, and down eight cents compared to October.

In Visalia, the average is now $3.47 a gallon, down 11 cents from last month.

Los Angeles has the most expensive gas in the state.

The average price there is $3.61 a gallon.
