Fresno State Bulldog Fans Sound Off About Loss To San Jose

Posted: Updated:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Bulldog faithful who couldn't make it to Spartan Stadium in San Jose did make the trek to local gathering holes, including Bulldog Grill.

Fan Jerri Burgess says, "Very disappointing, but San Jose State was awesome. They really were and our 'D' was blah."

Fan Judy Engleka says, "It's a sad defensive night. We just didn't have enough today. But it's been a good year and we had fun."

In addition, it is not over yet, Fresno State will host the Mountain West Championship game next Saturday. The dogs will play either Utah State or Boise State in that game.

Fan Jim Forte says, "The upcoming playoff game is going to be very interesting, especially if we have to play Boise."

But with the loss, even fans know any chance at a BCS Bowl game for Fresno State is gone.

Forte says, "Thank god there is no BCS next year! Get rid of that quagmire of crap that the eastern guys have been pulling all these years. They fix the computers we all know it."

Burgess says, "Like Carr said if we go out there and play our hearts out and we do our best, then we have nothing to complain about. So I'm still happy with my dogs."
