More Spots at Fresno State for 2014-15

Posted: Updated:

Here's some good news for those planning on attending Fresno State: the school will have more enrollment spots for 2014-15.

President Joseph I. Castro announced Tuesday morning that Fresno State has been granted an additional 400 full-time student enrollment spots.

He had requested funding for 800 new spots. Even though we certainly could have used additional enrollment spots, we are pleased that more students will have the opportunity to attend next year," he said. "It will allow the university to continue growing to meet the strong demand from students in the Valley and beyond."

Fresno State was just one of the 23 campuses in the California State University system to issue a request.

Fresno State had a record-high enrollment of 23,060 in the fall of 2013.

This includes full- and part-time students.
