Victim Dragged For Blocks In Fresno Hit And Run

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

UPDATE:

The man hit and killed has been identified as 66-year-old Jimmy Hill.

 


 

UPDATE:

Police now say they believe the truck involved in the hit and run is not the same one described earlier.

They now say they are looking for a newer, extra cab truck that may be a Chevrolet. They also say it is all one color, maybe dark red or maroon and the bed was loaded.

Fresno police need your help to find the person, who hit and killed a man, then drove off.

The hit and run happened Thursday night at San Benito and G Streets near downtown Fresno.

Officers say the driver hit a man and dragged him for blocks before getting away.

The vehicle is a 70s model Ford pickup that is painted red and cream, with the word FORD in red on the tailgate. The truck is also lifted with big wheels.
