GOSHEN, Calif. (KMPH) -

A stretch of Northbound Highway 99 will remain closed through noon Tuesday, as workers clean up after a fiery big rig crash that killed one driver.

The crash happened minutes before 7:00 a.m. along the 99 south of Goshen Avenue.

Officers say the driver of one truck veered from Southbound to Northbound lanes, and crashed head-on into another truck.

The driver of the truck that veered was killed, after his truck burst into flames.

The driver of the other truck was hurt, but is expected to survive.

A third vehicle, a Honda, was also caught in the crash.

The driver of that car was hurt and taken to a hospital.

Northbound traffic on Highway 99 is being diverted at Caldwell.

Highway 198 on-ramps at Highway 99 are closed.

So far, the driver killed has not been identified.
