Siblings Reunited After 30 Years

Posted:

Two siblings were reunited after 30-years, after finding out they're both members of the U.S. Navy, and one of them is stationed at the NAS Lemoore.

The two were separated as kids, and after searching for decades, they are back together again.

Robert Williamson and his half sister, Cindy, are originally from Denver, Colorado. The last time they saw each other was in the late 70s, when Robert was only six. "We have different mothers, my dad went a different way from my mother, and we just lost touch," said Cindy.

But as adults, the two never stopped looking for each other. "I tried looking on Facebook but there are a million Robert Williamson and a million Bobby Williamson's with no pictures, and I wouldn't have known what he looked like anyway. So, I tried... we did a People Search," said Cindy.

Cindy finally reached out to her father who told her Robert was in the Navy too. Cindy's Chief Petty Officer found Robert and called him. "He said, 'Well, I'm pretty sure my boss is your sister. Do you have a sister named Cindy?' And I just went silent," said Robert.

The two were finally reunited in San Diego and say they plan to never loose touch again.
