Free Caruthers District Fair Under Way Through Saturday

CARUTHERS, Calif. (KMPH) -

The Caruthers District Fair runs Wednesday through Saturday and is the largest free admission fair in California.

The fair continues to keep admission free by selling raffle tickets prior to the annual fair for prizes like a 2014 Ford Mustang, dinner for 6 to Harris Ranch, a large screen TV, and a $1000 gift certificate.

Gates open at noon each day.

Wednesday, September 25

7:00 - Opening & Coronation

Thursday, September  26

6:30 - 7:30 - Foreigner Unauthorized
8:00 - 9:30 - Elvis

Friday, September 27

6:30 - 7:30 - The Chordsmen
8:00 - 10:00 - Sonny Coelho Band

Saturday, September 28

6:30 - 7:30 - Fresno Community Concert Band
8:00 - 10:00 - Sons of the San Joaquin

There is also motorcycle racing, Endourocross races, and short track races.
