Jesse and Kelly Cottle never imagined their photo would be the next internet sensation.

The San Diego couple posed for the photo with Kelly holding Jesse, who lost both his legs while serving Afghanistan in 2009.

The couple just celebrated their first anniversary and took the photo while on vacation in Boise, Idaho.
