It will be open six days per week for ten hours each day.  According to Clinica Sierra Vista CEO Stephen W. Schilling, "When people have a place to go for regular care, they use it and stay healthier."

accessible health care.

The Elm Campus encompasses two new buildings: (1) Elm Community Health
Center, located at 2740 S. Elm Ave, provides primary care services, including
family practice and internal medicine and (2) Elm Women's and Pediatric
Community Health Center, located at 2760 S. Elm, provides
obstetrics/genecology/ well women and pediatric/children services. The campus
also has a dental center along with several ancillary program services, such as WIC,
MCOP/CPSP, and Patient Navigator, all in an effort to provide comprehensive care
to our patients.
The site has extended hours of operation, open six (6) days a week at ten (10) hours
per day, totaling 60 hours per week, in order to accommodate patients who are
unable to access care during a regular work week. In total, the site has an average

enabling staff for programs such as WIC, disease case management, comprehensive
perinatal services, and insurance enrollment, serving 17,874 patients through
50,666 patient visits.

In 2012, Clinica served 152,397 patients through 562,681patient visits and has
become the 2nd largest Federally Qualified Health Center in California and the
nation.
Evidence shows patients choose health centers because they are convenient,
affordable, and offer a range of services from a team of caring professionals.
PROGRAMS INCLUDING:

Providing medical, dental, behavioral, case management and education, and social services to the people of Kern, Fresno and Inyo Counties since 1971.
Studies also show the quality of care at a health center is as good as or even better
than private practices.

"Every day in our waiting rooms I witness the value of having a patient-centered
health care home," said Stephen W. Schilling, CSV CEO. "When people have a
place to go for regular care, they use it and stay healthier. We provide a range of
services onsite - primary care services, pediatrics, dentistry, lab, mental health
services along with our many supportive services, such as WIC and health
insurance enrollment. Our patients not only get the care they need under one roof,
but they are treated as individuals, with dignity and respect. This is what health
care should be, and what we celebrate during National Health Center Week."

Clinica accepts Medi-Cal, Medicare, private insurances, most HMO plans and cash.
We have Medi-Cal outreach and enrollment staff at our health centers to assist
patients with enrollment into these programs and the new Covered California health
plan. For the uninsured, we accept payments using a sliding fee scale, based on
family size and income.
