St. Jude: Purchase A Ticket To Win A Dream Home, Help Save A Life

A dream home could be reality with the purchase of a single ticket.

Tickets for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway went on sale Thursday. The 10th-annual giveaway raises money for the treatment of childhood cancers at the state-of-the-art facility located in Memphis, Tenn.

Jennifer Perez of Visalia was the first person to purchase a ticket Thursday morning.

Tickets can be purchased at all Fresno County Federal Credit Union branches, Fresno Coin Gallery and De Young Model Home Centers or by calling (800) 543-5887 for $100.

This year's home will be located in the CountryCourt community in Clovis and is valued at  $425,000. The 3,300-square foot home will feature four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a three-car garage and stainless steel appliances. 

Other prizes include Laker tickets, a luxury suit at a 2014 Fresno Grizzlies game and a Samsung 51-inch flat panel 3D TV and entertainment system courtesy of LinkUs.

A limited number of $100 tickets will be available to win the home. The Giveaway benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
