Former Fresno Fire Chief Takes Plea Deal

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Former Fresno Fire Chief Rob brown on Tuesday pled no contest to misdemeanor domestic violence and criminal threats.

Brown will receive three years probation. He will also have to enter a batterer's treatment program, take child/parenting class and complete 20 hours of community service under the plea deal.

Earlier this month, City Manager Bruce Rudd announced that Brown resigned from the position.
