Car Crash Halts Haircuts At NW Fresno Barber Shop

Posted:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

A woman in a Mercedes put the skids to pre–holiday haircuts Wednesday at a northwest Fresno barber shop.  Her car came crashing into Bravo Barbers at Bullard and Marks.

The car took out the glass entry way and caused the fire sprinklers to turn on.  No one was hurt in the crash.  The unidentified driver told authorities that she doesn't know why she made her car jump the curb and go racing into the barber shop.

Steve Orozco cuts hair at Bravo Barbers.  He saw it all as he walked into work.  "Man it was something else.  It was just unbelievable because right there it was stopped and right here it just flew thru there."

The car took out the store front entrance but it did not cause any structural damage.  Fresno Firefighters say cars into stores and homes are becoming a very common occurrence in all parts of Fresno.
