Hazardous Spill: Big Rig Overturns On South Valley Highway

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

A South Valley highway was closed Wednesday after a big rig hauling hazardous material overturned, spilling liquid onto the road.

The California Highway Patrol said the big rig collided with another vehicle shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Highway 65, just south of Avenue 95 in Terra Bella.

The spill forced CalTrans to shut down northbound Highway 65 at Avenue 80 and southbound 65 at Avenue 95.
