Hit By Bus: Man Killed In Downtown Fresno!

Posted: Updated:

A man was hit and killed by a bus Tuesday night.

The accident happened near C and Fresno streets in downtown Fresno.

Police say the charter bus, which was full of passengers at the time, had just exited Highway 99 and was making a left turn onto Fresno Street when it struck the man.

The driver of the bus told police that he did not realize he had hit the man, and kept driving. Police caught up with the driver at a nearby travel agency.

Police do not know if the bus was the first vehicle to hit the man.

The intersection was shut down until early Wednesday morning.
