Posted: Updated:
OROSI, Calif. (KMPH) -

The Tulare County Sheriff's Department says two people whose bodies were found inside of an Orosi home died in a murder-suicide.

Deputies received a call from an 8-year-old girl in the home on Clyde Avenue near Road 130 around 4:30 a.m., saying that shots had been fired inside of the home.

When deputies arrived, they found 33-year-old Jennifer Kimble and her 63-year-old father, Anthony Alvarez dead inside.

Deputies say Alvarez killed Kimble and also shot his other daughter, 33-year-old Valarie Alvarez, before taking his own life.

Valerie was flown to a Fresno hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

Deputies say three kids were inside the home at the time. They were not hurt.
