Hanford Woman Wounded In Shooting

HANFORD, Calif. (KMPH) -

A Hanford woman was wounded in an early morning shooting, police said.

Police say the 26-year-old woman was struck in her right side in the 800 block of West Sixth Street shortly after 2 a.m.

Witnesses said a vehicle drove by with its light off and opened fire, police said.

A total of eight shots were fired.

Moreno was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Police say witnesses were not cooperative with officers and the identity of the shooter is unknown at this time.
