Grizzlies Head Home After Road Loss

The Fresno Grizzlies wrapped up a Pacific Coast League road trip Tuesday afternoon in Memphis with a 4-3 loss to the Redbirds.

Fresno had an early 1-0 lead before Memphis scored three times in the third inning. Brock Peterson capped the rally with a two run home run to put the Redbirds up 4-1.

Cole Gillespie got one run back for the Grizzlies in the top of the sixth with his third homer of the year to make it 4-2.

Fresno scored again in the top of the ninth, but that's where the rally ended, along with the Grizzlies' four game winning streak.

After going 5-3 on the road trip, the Grizzlies return home to host New Orleans Thursday night.
