Nabbed: Police Identify, Arrest Teen Connected To Armed Robberies

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Tips have led to the arrest of a police say is responsible for three central Fresno armed robberies. 

The Fresno Police Department said it has arrested a 16-year-old male for an April 5 robbery at Buggy Clean Union and the April 12 robbery at Tacos San Lorenzo.

Detectives also discovered the teenager was responsible for a March 10 robbery at  Bishops Liquor.

In each robbery the teen pulled out a handgun, took money from the register and then walked away, police said.

Police said tips from viewers who saw surveillance footage from the robberies on KMPH poured into the department, eventually identifying the teen by name.

The teen was booked into Fresno County Juvenile Hall and charged with three counts of armed robbery.
