The Fresno Grizzlies wrapped up their first homestand of the season Thursday night by getting thumped by Las Vegas in their Pacific Coast League contest, 14-3.
Fresno pitcher Andrew Kown didn't make it out of the second inning, giving up nine runs on seven hits. The visiting 51s, who pounded out 16 hits in the game, had a 12-0 lead after three innings.
The Grizzlies got on the board in the fourth, getting RBI doubles from Roger Kieschnick and Juan Perez.
After going 4-4 on the season opening homestand, Fresno hits the road to open a series at Tucson Friday night.
