Driver That Killed Four Dies From Injuries

The driver of a pickup truck that killed four people in a traffic collision over the weekend has died from his injuries, the Fresno County Coroner said.

Stephen Perez, 25, of Reedley, died at 1:14 p.m. Monday, two days after his car collided with another car Saturday night at the intersection of Mountain View and Bethel avenues near Kingsburg.

Officers say that Perez was driving a Mazda pickup truck that failed to stop for a stop sign.

Perez was suspected of driving under the influence, according to the California Highway Patrol.
