Bank Robbery: Police Searching For Man Who Used Note To Rob Visalia Bank

VISALIA, Calif. (KMPH) -

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Visalia-area credit union Tuesday afternoon.

The robbery happened around 1:25 p.m. at the Tucoemas Credit Union on 2300 W. Whitendale in Visalia.

The Visalia Police Department said a man in his 20's walked into the bank wearing a baseball cap, black coat and jeans and passed the bank teller a note demanding money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the man who then fled from the bank on foot, police said.

Police said no weapon was seen and no one was injured in the robbery. There were several people inside of the bank at the time of the robbery, police said.

Police describe the man as white, around 6 feet tall, with a medium build and a trimmed beard.
