Joan Jett And The Black Hearts To Perform At Tachi Palace

LEMOORE, Calif. (KMPH) -

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will perform next month at Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore.

The performance is at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18. Doors open one hour prior to show time.

Joan Jett, leading the electrifying Blackhearts, has earned eight platinum and gold records and nine Top-40 singles with hits like "I Love Rock N'Roll", "I Hate Myself for Loving You" and "Bad Reputation."

Jett is also the head of her own independent record label, Blackheart Records, where she is currently developing a number of up-and-coming acts and continues to add new artists to the roster. The label also released her greatest hits collection which features 20 tracks from her more than 30 years in the music industry.

Her own story was also told in the acclaimed film The Runaways, which she executive produced. The screenplay was based upon the book Neon Angels, written by lead singer of The Runaways, Cherie Currie.

"I have had a blessed career," she said in a news release. "I consider myself so lucky to have been able to do things my way."

Tickets start at $40 and may be purchased at www.tachipalace.com or in the Tachi Palace hotel gift shop where Premiere Club members will receive $5 off each ticket.
