The Fresno State women's basketball team beats top seeded San Diego St., 76-70, to capture the Mountain West Conference tournament, locking up their 6th straight NCAA tournament berth. Ki-KI Moore led the way with 22 points. Alex Sheedy chipped in with 21, 15 in the first half. The Bulldogs finihsed the 1st half and started the 2nd half on a 23-0 run, and despite a great comeback by SDSU, they held on for the title.

The Fresno State baseball team lost to the Aztecs, 11-6, in game 2 of their series. The rubber game of the three game set is scheduled for Sunday at 1:05 p.m. at Beiden Field.
