The San Jose State baseball team ended a nine game losing streak Tuesday night with a 10-3 win over Fresno State at Beiden Field.
The Spartans took an early 5-0 lead on Matt Carroll's rbi single in the top of the third inning.
The Bulldogs, looking for their first three game winning streak of the season, scored the next three to make it a 5-3 game. Brody Russell hit his first career home run in the bottom of the third.
But that is as close as it would get, as the Spartans broke it open, holding Fresno State to only three hits.
The Bulldogs fall to 3-8 on the year.
