CLOVIS, Calif. (KMPH) -

Two men robbed nearly $13,000 worth of high-end merchandise from a Clovis bike store early Thursday morning, police said.

The two men shattered the glass front door to Steven's Bicycles at Willow and Nees avenues shortly before 5 a.m.

Surveillance footage captured one of the men stealing two bicycles and the other man stealing one bicycle.

It took the men just minutes to complete the theft, police said.

Just moments before the burglary, surveillance footage showed the two riding up to and away from the business on their own bicycles multiple times.

The three bikes that were stolen were road-racer style bicycles with drop-style handle bars with an estimated value of $13,000.

Police say a witness who lives near the business saw the men stuff bikes into the back of a car parked in front of a vacant house. Police say the witness also watched the men leave items next to garbage cans at the vacant house.

The crime is currently under investigation.
