Man Arrested For Peeping In Homes & Burglaries

Posted: Updated:
CLOVIS, Calif. (KMPH) -

Clovis police say 22-year old Aldo Salinas is facing charges, which include burglary and peeping into people's homes, police say all of which took place in his own neighborhood in southeast Clovis.

Officers say Salinas not only looked through windows of his neighbors, but also entered homes just to watch others.

Neighbors who say they have been victimized declined to go on camera, but shared surveillance video.

They say it shows Salinas looking in their homes.

One neighbor says his wife saw Salinas staring at her through the front window.

They called police.

The video shows cops looking around, but as soon as they leave, neighbors say the video shows Salinas running home, just 2 houses away.

Neighbors say detectives were able to gather prints off the people's windows.

Police say Salinas bailed out of the Fresno County Jail Thursday night.

Detectives say the break ins began a little over a month ago, but they are confident they've arrested the right man.

Clovis police detectives are now asking anyone else who was a victim in the southeast Clovis community to call Detective Edmonson at 559-324-3453.
