Big Rig Fire Forces Lane Closure On Highway 99

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

A southbound lane on Highway 99 just north of Visalia was closed after a big rig caught fire, the California Highway Patrol said.

The no.2 lane on Avenue 384 was closed at 12:52 p.m. on Wednesday.

Motorists have been advised to use and indefinite route.

CHP estimates that the lane will be reopened in three to four hours.
