Man Arrested For Two Counts Of Indecent Exposure

Posted:
VISALIA, Calif. (KMPH) -

Police say a man was arrested on Tuesday for two counts of indecent exposure and annoying or molesting a minor.

The 15-year-old victim notified the Visalia police of a man that had been following her, and then exposed himself to her as she walked down the street in north Visalia.

She obtained the license plate of the vehicle he was driving and provided it to the officers, who were then able to contact the driver, 29-year-old Jonathan Ojeda. After additional evidence was obtained, officers say they arrested him for two counts of indecent exposure and annoying or molesting a minor. He was also booked on a parole violation hold.

Police also say they discovered Ojeda had also followed and exposed himself to a 16-year-old female in September of 2012.

If anyone has been a victim of these types of crimes, they are urged to contact the Visalia Police Department.
