VISALIA, Calif. (KMPH) -
A 16-year-old boy is now behind bars after police say he ripped off thousands of dollars worth of stuff from a Salvation Army building in Visalia.
Last May, someone smashed a window to get into the building, then got away with 10-to-15-thousand dollars in band equipment, computers, a safe and other valuables.
Investigators say crime lab evidence collected from the scene finally helped them track down the teen who was arrested Tuesday.
