Two Stabbed During Gang-Related Fight In Delhi

DELHI, Calif. (KMPH) -

Rival gangs squared off in a liquor store parking lot in Delhi Saturday night.

When Merced County sheriff's deputies arrived at Stephens Street and El Capitan Way, they found one man who had been stabbed twice in the leg.

A second stabbing victim was found in worse shape at Lander Avenue and Highway 99 in Turlock. He was taken to a Modesto hospital and was last listed in critical condition.

The sheriff's office says both men -- who are believed to be in their 20s -- were uncooperative with investigators.
