MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -
A man charged with committing a murder in the Mariposa County town of Midpines says he didn't do it.
51-year-old Jeffrey Clark appeared in Mariposa County Superior Court Tuesday morning and pleaded not guilty to the murder of 43-year-old Gordon Crisp, according to our news partners at The Mariposa Gazette.
Sheriff's investigators believe Clark killed Crisp at a home on Rancheria Creek Road Saturday evening. They say several people witnessed the murder.
Clark will be back in court on Thursday for a pre-preliminary hearing, The Mariposa Gazette reports.
