2011 Murder Case: Fresno Co. Detectives Seek Help

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in solving a murder.

32-year-old Victor Velasquez Hernandez -- also known as Santos Mejia Gonzalez -- was found dead at the Mendota Pool Park, just north of Mendota, on October 23, 2011. Investigators say he was murdered.

No family members or friends have been located.

During their investigation, detectives learned that Hernandez was arrested in Conyers, Georgia back in 2007.

Detectives say they are releasing his booking photo in hopes that someone will recognize him and come forward with more information regarding his time in Fresno County.

So far, no arrests have been made in this case.
